Concerns over Kyogo Furuhashi’s departure are addressed by the Celtic manager
Since moving to Celtic from Vissel Kobe in the summer of 2021, Kyogo Furuhashi has been a true superstar. Many questioned if the Japanese player would be able to handle the physicality of the Scottish top division at the time. Truth be told, the Premiership has struggled to contain the forward’s brilliance.
Kyogo has come close to scoring several times while a Celtic player. He is also a man for the big stage, having scored twice in each League Cup final appearance he made, helping the Hoops win the trophy both times.
To put it mildly, Kyogo’s stats while wearing a Celtic jersey have been outstanding. In 76 games and 4975 minutes of play with the Hoops so far, he has scored 49 goals and contributed 10 assists, according to Transfermarkt statistics.
