The opposition, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, seeks to overthrow “Sanatana Dharma” and has dubbed the I.N.D.I.A bloc a “arrogant” or “Ghamandia” alliance.

On Thursday, Congressman Jairam Ramesh criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ‘GHAMANDIA’ jab at the opposition I.N.D.I.A group.

Ahead of the upcoming elections in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Modi attacked the I.N.D.I.A alliance, branding it a “arrogant” or “ghamandiya” alliance.

“Everyone needs to be on guard. These individuals want to send us back thousands of years by getting rid with “Sanatana,” the prime minister had declared.

In response to the PM’s criticism, Ramesh used social media site X. “The PM is back to insulting people, as he does best. He continued to refer to INDIA parties as “Ghamandia parties.” See who’s speaking! the person who takes advantage of a government event to criticize the opposition. If one had to stoop to his level, one could easily declare that he is the leader of Gautam Adani’s NDA, or the GA-NDA coalition.

The issue surrounding I.N.D.I.A member Udhayanidhi Stalin’s contentious statement on “Sanatana Dharma” had led to the prime minister’s response.

“Some things can’t be contested; they should only be done away with. Dengue, mosquitoes, malaria, and corona cannot be fought. This must be eliminated; that is how Sanatana must be eliminated. At a gathering in Chennai, the Tamil Nadu minister had remarked, “Rather than opposing Sanatana, it should be eradicated,” setting off a fierce political brawl.

Despite Udhayanidhi’s combative response to the situation, his chief minister father MK Stalin stood up for his son. On Wednesday, Stalin posted on X, “While the Prime Minister stays silent on issues that affect the average person on a daily basis, his cabinet focuses on #SanatanaDharma by spreading false narratives and fueling it with support from a few media outlets.”

“I urge our DMK leaders and cadre not to retaliate to such diversionary tactics and to continue questioning the BJP on #ManipurViolence, #AdaniHindenburg, a staggering 7.50 lakh crore rupees flagged in the #CAGreport, and other pressing issues, along with highlighting the BJP’s 9-year failures,” the statement reads. Both #INDIA and us will continue to ask questions, the DMK leader said.
