Sonu Nigam Claims That Anu Malik Mistreated Him When He First Entered The Business

One of the most well-known vocalists in Bollywood is Sonu Nigam. The singer revealed more about his relationship with the composer Anu Malik in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, admitting that he used to be intimidated by him in the past. Sonu, who views Anu Malik as his “guruji,” admitted that he was occasionally bullied by him.

Sonu’s remarks

Sonu stated in Hindi in a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, “At first, I used to get terrified of him. He used to bully me when I first started in the business since he was older and more experienced than I was. I first ran into him at a competition I won when I was 14 years old. When he was younger, he had said, “Get him to me.

Sonu continued by saying that Anu Malik has taught him a lot and that he has learned how to deal with him. “My father and I went to see him when I first arrived in Mumbai. At the time, he was really intimidating. But I eventually realized how to handle him. The saying “Jitna daboge, utna dabaenge” (You will be cornered more the further you go into a corner) applies here. He is my guruji, and I even learned a lot from him, the man remarked. Sonu also mentioned how effectively Anu Malik used his voice.

Surprisingly, Farah Khan, Anu Malik, and Sonu Nigam served as judges on the well-known singing competition show Indian Idol. On The Kapil Sharma Show, they also made an appearance together.

With the help of the film Refugee, in which Anu Malik recorded all the songs that were featured on Abhishek Bachchan in Sonu Nigam’s voice, Sonu Nigam received the biggest break of his career. They have since collaborated on a number of songs, which include Mere Rang Balle Balle from Soldier (1998), What Is Mobile Number from Haseena Maan Jaayegi (1999), Tu Hawa Hai from Fiza (2000), Aate Jaate Jo Milta Hai from Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega (2000), Milne Se Darta Hai Dil from Badal (2000), Chori Chori from Om Jai Jagadish (2002) and Sau Dard from Jaan-E-Mann (2006).
