A Ceasefire In The Israel-Hamas Conflict Has Begun, With The Release Of 13 Hostages On Day 1: Top Updates

• The Qatari foreign ministry told Reuters that the ceasefire will include a complete ceasefire in both the north and south of Gaza and that it would start at 7 a.m. local time.

• The first batch of captives is expected to be freed around 4 p.m. local time, according to Majed Al-Ansari, a spokesman for the Qatar ministry, who made the announcement in Doha. Over the course of the following four days, 50 hostages would be set free. Palestinians will also be released from Israeli prisons, according to Al-Ansari.

• Hamas said that 200 aid-carrying vehicles would reach Gaza each day. According to Qatar, the news agency AP claimed that fuel will be transported by the aid.

Salamiya and other doctors were arrested, and Hamas denounced the operation, claiming that Israel was attempting to evacuate the facility’s remaining patients.

• Hezbollah, a terrorist organization in Lebanon, claimed to have fired 48 Katyusha rockets from southern Lebanon on Thursday, prompting the activation of air raid sirens throughout northern Israel.
